Influential Work
- In 6 weeks as Interim CFO for a $120M parts distribution company, leading a team of 18, David saw considerable opportunity to improve systems with the existing ERP and Warehousing software. This reduced the need for one full-time staff member, whilst introducing greater efficiencies, less human error, improving supplier communication and reporting, more accurate inventory costings (45,000+ SKUs) and increased capability to scale without needing additional resources.
- Whilst engaged as CFO of a Biotech company, through 2 capital raises (~US$40M), David developed and implemented a company-wide risk management framework and introduced business systems (including ERP) to support the business growth opportunity.
- David developed considerable IP and established a membership-based business providing proprietary software tools and templates to accounting firms, with over 24,000 members globally.
